Writing in Nature
Sacred practice through contemplative walking, reading and writing
Many of us have a sense that we are sight-seers in our own neighborhoods. In this workshop, focused contemplation on nature and on the body is channeled into our writing process to help us slow down and feel the creativity, purpose and connection that is already within us. When we promote relationship with our surroundings, and begin to feel “native” there again, the sense of connection we long for naturally arises. These deep connections to place are necessary to cultivate a sense of belonging and well-being so necessary but so often missing in ourselves and our communities. This workshop is presented by Laurel.
